Do yourself a big favor and click on the video to hear the rumble of this built LT-4 powered Camaro SS! This thing sounds simply amazing! This is #913 of 979 SLP 30th Anniversary 1997 Camaro Super Sport cars built! It has a clean CarFax and clean and clear Florida title. That's right, a freshly built Chevrolet LT-4 with just 300 miles since installed powers this 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport 30th Anniversary with around 500 horsepower! That power runs through a 6-speed manual transmission to keep you in total control of this muscle car! The exterior is stock with the classic Arctic White and Orange color scheme the 1969 Pace Cars and 1997 Camaro 30th Anniversary have come to be known for. The interior is white and black houndstooth which also gives a nod back to the first generation Camaro! The engine is a built crate LT-4 with a true 4-bolt main, that has been zero decked. Parts installed include: Durobond hp cam bearings, ARP main bolts, Eagle forged steel crankshaft, Eagle H-beam rods with ARP 2000 bolts, Mahle forged pistons, Total Seal rings, Mahle main and rod bearings, Mellings M55HV oil pump, Comp Cams true double roller timing set, Comp Cams camshaft with .234 intake and .238 exhaust duration, Comp Cams lifters, Comp Cams push rods, Comp Cams Ultra Race roller rockers, Comp Cams dual valve springs, ported and polished LT-4 heads, Ferrea valves, ARP head bolts, LT-4 port matched intake, electric water pump, 42 lb injectors, dual 58 mm throttle body, MSD Optispark ignition, MSD plug wires, GM coil and module, 1 7/8"" primary long tube headers with 3"" collectors that run to 3.5"" exhaust into Flowmaster mufflers with custom dumps before the rear bumper, and 160 degree thermostat to keep it cool. The transmission is also built with McLeod race clutch bronze/carbon, Hurst short throw shifter, aluminum driveshaft with Spicer u-joints. The rear end is the factory Torsen differential with 3.42 gears, cover girdle and aluminum rear end cover. The brakes have all been redone with GM parts. The suspension is stock. The fuel pumps have been upgraded as well. Other new parts include: alternator, belt, A/C compressor, battery, thermostat, window regulators in both door, plug wires and spark plugs, taillights, distributor, cap and rotor, and tires. The interior is mostly stock and very clean, with a ton of options to keep you happy as you cruise! A/C, PW, PL, AM/FM/Cassette, and more! The original white leather was reupholstered with the current Houndstooth pattern. The parts mentioned have less than 300 miles on them, meaning this car is ready to roll and needs nothing. The body and interior have 125,000 miles on them and the odometer just stopped displaying, but the CarFax shows it count up to 123,990 and the seller states the car was driven less than 1,000 miles since then as it was in the shop having all of the above mentioned work done. So the mileage is exempt on this Camaro's title. This vehicle is available to view by appointment only. Please call the office to make an appointment.
