GR Auto Gallery is pleased to bring to market this eye catching 2010 Dodge Challenger/Daytona. The car was built by HPP (Heide Performance Products) and is believed to be one of 100. HPP presented their idea of the Superbird/Daytona builds on April 30, 2009 which was also the same day that Chrsyler went into bankruptcy. While Chrysler did not have the money to take on the supercar idea, they allowed HPP to spear head the misison. HPP hired Jack Pennington as chief designer, who was an extremely accomplished artist and designer and was under the guidance of Gordon Heidacker along with Walt Heidacker who passionate about the hobby staying alive in modern day vehicles. HPP's conversion captures the spirit of the original Daytona with a striking aerodynamic package, including an elongated nose cone and a prominent rear wing. The design flawlessly merges retro inspiration with contemporary Challenger styling. The car is powered by a 6.1L Hemi V8 and is paired with a 6 speed manual transmisison. This example is serial #1 which was built for one of the owners of the company. The car remains in excellent condition. Whether displayed at a car show or unleashed on the open road, this 2010 Dodge Challenger Daytona by HPP is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that bridges the past and present of muscle car excellence.
