Bam! The blue with red interior is a knockout. Then you go for a ride and that supercharged LS1 will scare you if you aren't careful! Yes, itis crazy fast but it will take you cruising all day long too. It has a new Vintage air system to keep you comfy, click it into 6th gear and the motor purrs. I sold this to a good customer that has bought dozens of cars from us over the last 4 decades. He spent over 15 grand on upgrades including the a/c, front suspension, 4 wheel disc etc. He said it is the fastest car we ever sold him!
EXTERIOR: Killer midnight blue metallic paint that's been ceramic coated twice! Seriously, looks like you could dive right in it. The body is absolutely straight and fits very well. It has a metal cowl hood and a carbon fiber rear spoiler. Painted on white nose stripe, and red pinstriping. New vinyl top. It was upgraded with LED headlights and a Detroit Speed electric headlight door kit. The bumpers, marker lights, stainless trim, door handles, taillights look new. The weatherstrips and window seals are new. The windshield is new. 18 inch American Racing wheels with diamond cut lip are wrapped in performance tires.
INTERIOR: I absolutely love the contrasting red interior. The door panels, armrests, upholstery, headliner, carpet, and seat cushions were replaced. Brand new tilt steering column and steering wheel. Upgraded 3 point retractable seatbelts in front and back. New red dash pad and a set of custom analog electronic gauges. Updated Vintage Air electric slide controls. Also updated with a retro stereo and 6x9 speakers in back. The 6-speed Hurst shifter sticking out of the floor looks like fun!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Performance LS1 motor was built to handle a supercharger. 5.7L - 550 HP. It has a Texas Speed cam, lifters, and spring kit. Equipped with a D1SC intercooled Procharger and a mild pulley, it was neatly installed with nicely run tubing. It has an ATI SFI balancer also. A new Vintage Air system and heat keeps passengers comfortable. An aluminum radiator with an electric fan keeps the motor cool. The front of the motor has modern power steering and alternator with a serpentine belt system. It has an upgraded wiper system and Optima battery. The power brake system looks new.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted slick. Inside the trunk compartment is clean metal with a nice spatter finish.
UNDERSIDE: The entire front end has been rebuilt with fresh components. It was just upgraded with fat tubular control arms, and adjustable coilover gas shocks. In back it has brand Caltrac traction bars, KYB gas shocks and performance mono split springs. Neatly installed mandrel bent dual exhaust with crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. New fuel system compatible with the fuel injection and all new fuel lines as well. Drilled and slotted disc brakes all the way around and the e-brake is hooked up. Bottom of the motor has a Custom Holley oil pan and a high torque starter. A T56 6-speed manual transmission uses a hydraulic clutch. In back is a 12 bolt rear end. Solid floors painted gloss black.
SERVICE: Our team of professional mechanics completed a thorough inspection on this car and properly aligned the AC compressor, relocated the intercooler, fabricated a hood release, reprogrammed the A/C controller, rewired the turn signals, repaired the headlight connection, lubed and adjusted the headlight doors, and replaced the alternator wire.
This Camaro stands out. I love the colors, that's a big part of the reason I bought it. Of course, a super charged LS with a 6-speed certainly played a role in my decision!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
