From the Greg Grams C-2 luxury and comfort Corvette collection. Greg started selling these corvettes in the early 70s as used cars and kept selling them as they became collector items. Recently he has assembled an impressive collection of 1963-1967 Corvettes focusing on air conditioned coupes. He has run each one through our shop and they are very functional and dialed in ready to enjoy. He took the time to assemble display boards with miscellaneous literature, NCRS shipping reports, window stickers and more. Each car comes with a jack and spare. Since the early 70s when he started collecting, these cars have not been known to go down in value. Drive an investment!
Wow! A red over red fuelie Vette that is frame off restored! #s matching throughout and verified with a NCRS Top Flight award in 2023. We have the award and detailed judging sheets. It scored 973 points out of 1,000. We also have the NCRS shipping report, manuals and a window sticker copy for display purposes. Built on 9/30/1963, sold new at Rosenthal Chevrolet. All the components, numbers and codes were closely inspected by experts. Typically, I find cars with a Top Flight and it was from several years ago, this one is recent. The restoration is recent too, it looks like jewelry! Only 1,325 fuel injected Corvettes were made in 1964, that's nothing. How many originals still exist today, a few hundred?
EXTERIOR: Repainted its original Riverside Red according to the trim tag which was verified by the judges. The body is in outstanding condition, doors shut like new, headlights open and close properly. All the chrome and trim is excellent. Glass is very good etc. It is looking pretty on a set of knock off wheels and they are wearing radial tires for a better ride.
INTERIOR: Wow, more sexy red. According to the verified trim tag it was born a red interior car. Correct 6500 redline tachometer for a Fuelie engine. I just peaked inside again, and everything looks fresh: gauges, dash pads, console, upholstery, carpet, headliner etc. it's all stock: Am-Fm, chrome shifter and it even has a jack/lug wrench in back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is a concourse correct engine compartment, don't take my word for it, it was just inspected by experts. Verified #s matching 327-375 hp fuel injected motor. Not only is this a great looking motor with its finned aluminum valve covers and finned fuel injection with cross flag emblem on top, but it's a runner too! 15 hp more than a 1963, 48 hp more than the number of cubic inches, this was one of the baddest boys on the street in '64! It comes with deep groove pulleys, so the belts don't fly off at high RPMs. It has correct reproduction hoses and clamps, spring clamp battery cables, ignition shielding, expansion tank etc. It is detailed fresh, not an older restoration showing age. It features power brakes too.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame and the underside is completely rebuilt and freshly detailed. It features front and rear suspension which has been completely rebuilt. The steering and brakes were rebuilt. New, correct exhaust with polished tips going through the valance. Looking up at the motor it is fresh Chevy Orange with a correct type starter, oil filter canister and fuel pump. That orange overspray on the bell housing is correct. The M-20 Muncie 4-speed is #s matching. The restored driveshaft leads back to the original rear end dated to this car and has performance 3.70 posi gears. The fiberglass floors are impressive, they are raw like they are supposed to be and in mint shape. Spare tire carrier is in excellent shape too. All of the chassis was prepped and painted really nice.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and only had to replace the battery!
Now don't compare this to a white car with a 20 year old Top Flight and a restoration that was done decades ago. This is killer in red/red and it's fresh like jewelry and verified 1 year ago! Again, don't take my word on it, we have the judges sheets. This one is special, I thought we'd be keeping it for our collection. The opportunity is yours to own the best!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
