This stunning 1969 Dodge Charger R/T Restomod has received a ground-up restoration of a very high standard. Leaving the factory as a 1969 Charger R/T, this muscular Mopar was restored to resemble a 1968 Charger. Finished in Dark Silver Metallic paint over a laser-straight body with a red tail stripe, this Pro Touring built Charger commands attention wherever it appears. It is rolling on 17-inch U.S. mag wheels wrapped with performance tires staggered 245/45ZR17 front and 255/50ZR17 rear to achieve the perfect stance. The hidden headlights are LED and are activated with new electric headlight cover motors. The red tail stripe coordinates with the beautifully restored stock red interior, which features 1969 Charger bucket seats, a floor-shifter with console, seat belts with shoulder harnesses, an upgraded Dakota digital dash, a wood-rimed steering wheel, and a retro AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth that perfectly matches the dash.
Powering this Charger is a powerful new Mopar Performance 392 cubic inch Hemi engine with an MP wiring harness and ECU mated to a SilverSport Stage 2 4L60E automatic transmission with TCU, sending power back to an 8 Mopar SureGrip rear end with 3.55 gears and new axles. The engine bay is highly detailed and features a 26-inch radiator with dual SPAL fans, long tube exhaust headers, and a completely new engine FEAD system with a modified power steering pump. A new fuel tank has been fitted with a 255 LPH pump. This Charger handles the road confidently with premium upgrades that include a Gerst/QA1 tubular K-member, upper and lower control arms, rack and & pinion steering, and a Gerst/QA1 4-link rear suspension and sway bar. Stopping power is provided by a HydroTech power brake unit with Wilwood slotted and drilled disc brakes on all four corners.
