The Impala was first introduced in 1958 and remained in production for various years up until 2020. It was a very popular passenger car for Chevrolet and was up there with the better selling American automobiles sold in the US. This nice 1996 was the last year for the 7th generation and is a true Super Sport. It has had a lot of work done on it over the years and comes with receipts showing the mechanical history. It is painted a nice Black paint with a Red bowtie over the custom grill. It has a custom fiberglass cowl hood with chrome tie downs. The lights all work properly and it has aftermarket lights in back with smoked lens headlights. The glass is in good condition throughout and has been tinted. It rides on its original style wheels wrapped with Bridgestone 245/45R17 tires.
Under that custom hood this car is now powered by a tuned 383 Stroker motor that is sporting a Vortech Supercharger. It offers plenty of power and is also features AFR 285 heads, a custom cam, roller rockers, Holley injectors, an Eagle crank, Eagle rods, and a Meziere electric water pump. It is paired with a smooth shifting 4L80E automatic transmission with torque converter that sends power back to the Ford 9 inch rear end. The car sounds healthy and has a Flowmaster X pipe exhaust. Other nice upgrades include a new aftermarket radiator, coil over conversion, LS tank, and SSBC brakes/spindles.
Inside the car has all been entirely redone in Black suede with Black alligator inserts. It has SS embroidered on the headrests and Impala logos in the back. The dash has also been covered in Suede and on the passenger side is the Impala logo as well. It has a fully custom DS18 touch screen stereo with multiple added aftermarket speakers. The original gauges are in place on the dash but Equus gauges have also been added to the drivers side pillar. It has a tilt steering column topped off with a chrome Grant GT 3 spoke steering wheel.
This cool Impala SS has a lot going on and has been nicely modified.
