EXTERIOR: Show quality fit and finish! The body is laser straight with no rust or damage. The emblems have been deleted for a clean look. It has a molded in front spoiler and the Shelby style scooped hood with racing pins. Very rich looking color called Dark Cabernet Metallic. Polished like a mirror and has some subtle hand pinstripe. The trim, chrome, taillights etc were replaced. It has a factory remote mirror. The windshield and weatherstrips were replaced. It is sitting proud on some sparkling Cragar SS wheels.
INTERIOR: It looks great from carpet to headliner! You'll be looking at a beautifully restored dash area. The bezels, paint, and dash pad are in excellent shape. Hot Rod style tachometer is mounted on the column. A retro stereo fits in the factory hole and has 6x9s in back and speakers in the doors. Down on the floor is pony reproduction mats, racing lap belts in front, standard belts in back. The factory console has an original looking shifter hooked up to the 5-speed. The seat upholstery, door panels and headliner have been replaced. It's exceptional: interior lights work, day/night mirror looks new, glovebox liner was replaced etc.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Highly detailed engine bay with a high performance 289! It's been balanced and bored, has TRW pistons, 10.5:1 compression, Comp cam and rockers Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake, Edelbrock carb, Mallory Unilite ignition and Tri-Y headers. Hard fuel lines with AN fittings, fuel pressure regulator and gauge. Dressed nicely with polished and chromed parts. Upgraded dual reservoir master cylinder, optima battery and a Monte Carlo support bar. The engine bay and under the hood is painted slick like the car!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean and complete. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are also painted like a mirror. The whole inside is clean metal that's been painted. Matching mat and tire cover. Cragar wheel for a spare and a jack.
UNDERSIDE: Detailed undercarriage, underwent a full restoration. Fresh front suspension including shocks, quick steer kit, 1"" sway bar, and urethane bushing kit. Stopping power is performed by 4 wheel disc brakes by Stainless Steel Brake Corp. The rear suspension features Traction Master traction bars, rear sway bar, and Koni shocks. The exhaust is ceramic coated, dual pipes to high performance mufflers and resonators. The gas tank was replaced at time of restoration and hooked up with a Edelbrock inline fuel pump. Looking up at the motor is has a very nice Milodon large capacity oil pan and is mated to a heavy duty scatter shield. Fresh T-5 manual 5-speed trans with Center Force clutch. The power is sent through the fresh 8"" rear end with 4.11 gears. Rock solid floors and frame rails have been repainted black for a tidy look.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and all we had to do was recalibrate the speedometer. This is one of the exceptional ones! The quality is impressive throughout. The looks and performance are awesome!
