It was also dry-sumped standard racing practice, as used in the 'Hot Rod' 275 GTB Competizione Speciales. Topped by six Weber carburettors la 250 GTO, the smooth and flexible motor produced a reliable 300bhp, more than enough for 165mph. It took just 15 seconds to be travelling at 100mph from standstill. Originally delivered in Milan, Italy, the car came to the US in the early 1970's where it was owned by a number of prominent collectors. The original colors were Agrento (Silver)/Nero, and in earlier restorations it was also shown and prominently auctioned in both Giallo/Nero and Nero/Nero. The definitive restoration was completed in 2013 in Giallo, one of the most flattering and desirable colors on a 275. Of course our car includes books and pouch, tools, tool roll, and jack. The car is well-sorted and ready to shine at any concours or touring event.
