1955 331 HEMI engine.
Not a lot is known about this engine accept what the numbers tell us and what the former owner left behind after he passed away.
As an N55 stamped engine, we know it's a 1955 331 that would have put out 250 HP and 340 LbFt of torque when stock. Being that this engine belonged to a died in the wool hot rodder and he had it rebuilt, we can only guess that it was built to be more powerful than stock. It is running a solid lifter/cam set up and does come with the headers seen in the last couple of photos. It's running a Weiand dual quad intake with a set of Edlebrock 500 cfm 4 barrel carbs on top. It has an MSD distributor and an alternator mounted. The engine does turn freely and is ready to be installed into your favorite street rod, MoPar or any other car you'd desire.
Asking price for this legendary Hemi is $7000
