Description:
This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro is fitted with a 400ci V8 with an Edelbrock intake manifold, fuel injection system, and cylinder heads. Power is routed through a six-speed manual transmission and an Eaton limited-slip differential, and the car rides on a lowered suspension with front coilovers, rear QA1 shocks, sway bars, tubular control arms, and 17 Torq Thrust wheels that are mounted over Wilwood disc brakes. It is finished in blue with painted white stripes and features a fiberglass cowl-induction hood, a rear spoiler, a fuel cell, and aftermarket lighting. The cabin is outfitted with a Hurst shifter, a Pioneer Bluetooth stereo, AutoMeter instrumentation, and Procar front bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl.
Interior:
The interior is very nice, please take a moment to view our walk around and test drive! The Procar low-back front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in black vinyl and are joined by replacement carpets and a Painless switch panel mounted below the dashboard. Appointments include a Hurst shifter, a Pioneer Bluetooth head unit, power windows, and aftermarket pedals. The Grant steering wheel frames a carbon-fiber bezel that houses an AutoMeter 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary readouts. The odometer shows 1,500 miles.
Exterior:
The car left the factory finished in LeMans Blue, and it was refinished with white painted stripes during the build. Details include a fiberglass raised cowl hood, a rear spoiler, aftermarket headlights, dual side mirrors, and a chrome rear bumper.
Drivetrain:
The hood opens on billet CVF hinges to reveal a fuel-injected 400ci V8 that is said to have been assembled by Maropulos Racing Engines of Simi Valley, California. It is equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold and cylinder heads along with MSD ignition, a serpentine accessory drive setup, a yellow radiator support, a Fluidyne radiator, and a relocated oil filter assembly. A dynamometer report indicates a peak output of 583 horsepower and 529 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a 10-bolt rear end with an Eaton limited-slip differential, revised axles, and 4.10:1 gears. Long-tube headers feed a dual exhaust system with an H-pipe, electronic cutouts, and MagnaFlow mufflers.
