Manufactured by Pontiac for more than four generations, the GTO is synonymous with American Muscle. Introduced in 1964 as an optional package for the LeMans model, the GTO variant became so wildly popular that Pontiac made it it's own model in 1966. The GTO's roots are based in Pontiac's love for racing and it's definition as General Motor's performance brand. Throughout its years of production, the GTO was continually regarded as the true definition of American sport and performance.
