The true beauty is the addition of the 5.7Liter LS1 V-8 with long tube headers feeding the electric cutouts so you can go from mild to wild with the flip of a switch and is backed by a smooth shifting a 4L60E automatic transmission putting the power to the ground through a 12 bolt PosiTrac rear end with 3.73 gears. It's a powerful El Camino, but it also knows how to cruise comfortably.
