For 1969, John DeLorean ordered the development of an all new Grand Prix. The third generation of if this long running car debuted with new body work and a pronounced grill. The body was unique to Grand Prix with the longest hood of any Pontiac produced. The 1969 Grand Prix debuted a "Command Seat" wraparound cockpit-style instrument panel that placed most controls and gauges within easy reach of the driver. The new Grand Prix was a 2 Door Hardtop and enjoyed much sales success.

The seller states the car runs and drives well. The 428 engine runs strong and the odometer shows 76K with good carpet and door panels. The body presents well as it was a Montana car since new. The paint is reported to be in need of assistance in spots and the driver's seat and center console is showing wear.
