There is nothing quite like this stunning 1982 Camaro Z/28 Prostreet build. The custom body work on this car is amazing, custom crafted by Mayfair Customs in Florida, it features a large cowl hood, updated front bumper skin, shaved door handles with poppers, blacked out tail lights, T-tops and a custom fabricated body kit molded into the body. The car was the painted in House of Kolor Candy Apple Red and looks incredible. What really grabs attention are the massive, deep dish 20-inch Coys C5 wheels wrapped with 225/30ZR20 front and giant 29x18.00R20LT rear tires.
The interior is heavily customized as well, with a custom fabricated metal dash, center stack, console with cup holders and upper door panels all finished in Candy Apple Red. The dash is fitted with a complete set of white faced Autometer Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite gauges and Pioneer Touchscreen stereo with Bluetooth and navigation features. There is also a tilt steering column topped with a custom billet steering wheel, leather trimmed Recaro bucket seats, Billet door handles, suede headliner, as well a roll cage. The custom carpeted trunk area is designed with a Chevrolet Bowtie around the stereo AMP.
Under the large cowl hood is a fire-breathing World Products 540 cubic inch Merlin lll engine built with 345cc aluminum AFR heads, JE pistons, Eagle crank and a custom ground 258/266, 0.647/0.647-inch camshaft with Comp hydraulic rollers. When tested, this brute delivered an impressive 820 hp and 795 lb ft of torque. Other engine goodies include an Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake manifold topped with a Quick Fuel 950 CFM carburetor, March accessories and serpentine belt system, MSD box, shaved firewall, Be Cool aluminum radiator with electric fans, power steering, polished aluminum valve covers and brake system, Hooker ceramic coated headers and a SSBC power master cylinder linked to Wilwood Pro Series 4-piston brake calipers with 12.9-inch rotors on all four corners. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 3-speed TH400 automatic built by Lane's Transmission with a Hugh's 3300 stall converter, B&M shifter, Ocala Driveline aluminum driveshaft and a S&W back half kit with a narrowed 9-inch Ford rear end supported by a 4-link. Adjustable QA1 struts in the rear, with two-inch Belltech drop spindles and QA1 struts in the front help achieve the aggressive stance this Camaro has.
