Incredible rust-free CA car. Well known Fontana, CA car, said to have been sold new in Fontana. Some time in the early 60's the car was parked behind a Fontana gas station. A G.I. (Jerry) tried to buy the car several times and was successful in 1969 upon returning home from Vietnam. At that time the car was painted orange and had no engine or transmission.
Black CA plates on the car were assigned to the car in 1969 when Jerry purchased it. Jerry kept the car in Fontana his whole life. The car never left the Fontana area until we brought it to RDLM about a year ago.
Jerry put the 350 Chev engine and 39' Ford transmission in the car right after he purchased it.
The car was painted black some years later.
Columbia 2spd. Rear axle
A 1932 3 window in this condition and with this much CA history is an extremely hard thing to find.
Update the wheels and interior to your liking and you will have a very special 1932 Ford 3 window coupe. The body and patina are perfect for the car.
When you sit in this car you can just imagine it prowling the streets of Fontana for 90 years. A very special vehicle.
