Description:

One of the most controversial yet iconic cars made. This Porsche 911 converted to a RUF slantnose is stunning and extremely fun to drive. This is a 1 owner vehicle that stayed in the same family since 1974! Get your retro on in this classic 911 that's timeless and only continues to rise in value.

EXTERIOR: The body is stunning! RUF slantnose started in the late 80's and were made in Germany; they are very rare with under 100 made. Somehow this lucky owner was able to import a genuine RUF kit from Germany and converted his car here in the states. Take note of the steel wide body fenders, aluminum front and rear bonnet lids, and the fiberglass bumpers. They are all genuine RUF pieces. The staggered 17"" RUF speed line wheels are polished aluminum and gorgeous. They are wrapped in a new Michelin pilot sport tire. Also, there is a rare sliding electric sunroof in working condition. The paint is finished in a rare early 70's Gemini blue metallic which is the original paint code of this 911. It was repainted when the conversion was done and shows very well with some small blemishes here and there. (Refer to our YouTube video to see the pointed-out flaws)

INTERIOR: The interior is in great condition and mostly all original! Upgraded with Recaro heated and electronic bolster bucket seats. They are extremely comfortable allowing for a long drive in this 911.The dash is very nice with no cracks or warping, All the gauges on the dash are functional, It even has an authentic RUF factory tachometer installed. There's a nice, upgraded Porsche aluminum racing steering wheel with a functional horn.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The Engine has been converted and upgraded to the bulletproof 3.2L Flat6 engine. That was done at the time of the slant nose conversion in 1988. Recently The car was taken to a Porsche dealership and had a $14,000 service performed. Including the engine being taken out and completely resealed!

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The frunk is in great shape as well, It has a complete carpet kit that's in nice shape. Underneath is the original spare tire as well as the factory jack and tool kit. The battery has been replaced and sits to the side of the spare. All the jambs are painted glossy and the hinges are functional and hold the bonnet up. Included is a car cover that fits nicely to the car.

UNDERSIDE: Underneath is original and in very nice condition. The original undercoating is still in great shape. The floors are solid and the trunk area. As to be expected with the age it has its patina but no major rust or rot anywhere. Overall clean and everything is functional. You are looking up at a correct 5 spd manual transmission. The factory dual exhaust is intact and does not leak.

Service: This car went through service from a Porsche dealer and had everything gone through including a complete engine reseal and new timing components. The A/C has been resealed and recharged, brakes gone through, coolant flush and replaced. New clutch and flywheel have been installed. They went through faulty wiring and fuses and replaced nonfunctional items. Electronic side bolsters repaired, driver window motor replaced, sunroof repaired and much more! Included are all the receipts for the service and a multi-point inspection from Porsche.

This is a very pleasing, fun car to drive. It is turnkey and only needs a new owner! You'll be proud to show this off wherever you take it, and proud to own a piece of Porsche racing history.

A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
