1997 Chevrolet Tahoe
The Chevrolet Tahoe was first released in 1994. Previously Chevrolet and GMC offered the "Blazer" and "Jimmy" name plates respectively. GMC moved to the "Yukon" name for their full size SUV in 1991 while Chevrolet stuck with "Blazer". Chevrolet would take a few years to catch up at which point they named the full size "Blazer" as the "Tahoe" and left the mid size S10 as the new "Blazer". These were very popular SUVs and are still being produced today. This 1997 is a super clean vehicle that has resided with the current owner since 1999. It has been extremely well cared for since new. It has no history of wrecks and has not been off roaded. It comes with invoices for various things that have been done to it over the years. It wears a nice Gloss Black paint that has a beautiful shine. It has nice chrome bumpers and a nice chrome custom grills. It also has custom chrome steps that have been added to each side. The lights on it all work properly and aftermarket clear lenses has been added in place of the stock front turn signals. It rides on a set of Weld Evo wheels wrapped with new Toyo H/T open country tires.
The truck itself has 208,960 miles on it but the motor was replaced around 58,000 miles ago in 2012. It is a crate 5.7L Vortec motor that runs great! It doesn't smoke and doesn't leak or have any issues. It is paired with an automatic transmission that shifts smoothly with no problems and has also been replaced. Over the years it has had the front suspension redone and the power steering pump and steering gear are all new. The seals have all been checked throughout and addressed as needed. The 4 wheel drive on it works properly with no problems and it runs down the road very well. This is ready to go and just needs to find a new owner to enjoy it!
The interior of the truck is a two tone Gray and has been entirely redone. The seats, carpet, headliner, etc everything is in like new condition. It has power adjustable front bucket seats and a full bench in the rear. WeatherTech floor mats have been added throughout to keep the carpet protected and in excellent condition. There is a ton of storage in back and a mat has been added there as well. This is where you will find the spare and jack which are all good. The dash has a stock layout and the AM/FM/Cassette and CD player all work properly. New speakers have been added throughout and sound great. The AC blows cold with no issues.
This has got to be one of the nicest examples of these Tahoes still on the road. If you had always wanted one new then this is your chance! Plus, considering its age it is officially a "classic" so if you have another daily driver you will get the benefit of a lot of savings getting it titled and insured.
