Frame off restoration, the floors are as shiny as the body! Amazing colors inside and out! Big block 396 that sounds awesome, mated to a 4 speed manual! This is an impressive and iconic muscle car that is begging to driven!
EXTERIOR: Striking color combination! The LeMans blue paint has been neatly applied then polished to a reflective finish. All the panels are aligned with consistent gaps. The doors close with minimal effort. Looking down the side of the body it is 100% laser straight. The SS side stripes really give it that extra pop. The windshield was replaced. All the chrome has a beautiful shine. It has dual side view mirrors. The SS grill and tail panel are both in great shape. It has the correct polished exhaust tips. It's sitting on a gorgeous pair of 18"" chrome American Racing 5 spoke mags with tires that are a little fatter in the rear.
INTERIOR: The white interior is striking against the blue paint! All the following items were replaced and look like new: headliner, sun visors, rear view mirror, dash pad, gauge bezel, center console, shifter, door panels, seats and carpeting. It includes a very nice set of Chevelle embroidered floor mats and upgraded steering wheel. The heater control panel is upgraded with Vintage Air using electric slides. It has factory gauges in the dash including a tachometer and there is also a set of modern gauges under the dash. The dome light is working.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Big block behemoth! The 396 V8 was upgraded with a Holley carb, Edelbrock intake, HEI ignition and a set of Doug's coated headers. It's equipped with a new air conditioning system along with power steering and power brakes. Looking sharp with a nice pair of Chevrolet cast aluminum valve covers and chrome air cleaner. The upgraded aluminum radiator has a very nice overflow bottle mounted to the firewall. All new hoses and wires. The battery is properly secured. The underside of the hood is complete with insulation. The fender wells and firewall are painted just like the body. The horns are hooked up.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid and jamb is painted slick just like the body. The weather stripping was replaced. Inside the trunk pan metal is solid and rust free with a factory style spatter finish paint. It is equipped with a full-size spare tire and jack assembly.
UNDERSIDE: Frame off restoration with body color polished floorboards! All the components have been rebuilt, replaced, or refinished. New shocks and springs, boxed control arms in back. It has front disc brakes, and the e-brake is hooked up. The long tube headers feed the Flowmaster mufflers to make a great sound out the SS tips. Looking up at the engine it is spotless with fresh chevy orange paint and a high torque starter. The manual 4-speed has a hydraulic clutch. The driveshaft was restored and leads back to a 12 bolt rear end. 12 bolt rear end.
SERVICE: Our lead mechanic thoroughly inspected this car and we installed a backup light switch, replaced the clutch master, replaced the AC compressor, installed new horns, installed new visor clips, adjusted the driver's arm rest, replaced the rear view mirror bracket, installed a driver door latch, and lubed both the rear windows.
CONCLUSION: This Chevelle has been painstakingly frame off restored with a killer aesthetic and performance to match! A true knockout that's not to be underestimated!
