1994 Ford Mustang Cobra |
The SVT Mustang Cobra is a muscle car built by Ford’s Special Vehicle Team from 1993 through 2004. The SVT Cobra was a high-performance version of the Mustang that was positioned above the GT and the Mach 1 models during its era of production. It represented Ford’s first major redesign since the 3rd generation Fox Body Mustang was introduced in 1979. This particular example has been fit with a performance built 363ci Dart SHP Block 302 that was dyno tuned at 728rwhp (839hp at the crank) on E85. The engine was built with a forged crank, forged H-Beam rods, forged diamond pistons, a nasty Comp Cams cam, Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads, an Edelbrock Victor EFI set-up and a NOVI 2000 Supercharger. Exhaust is handled with a set of double ceramic coated headers and it sounds just plain nasty ripping through its 3” performance exhaust. The car has been thoroughly built to handle this horsepower with welded torque boxes, a racing clutch, a Magnum 6 speed manual tranny, an aluminum drive shaft and a Ford 8.8 posi rear end with 3:73 gears. The interior has been upgraded with racing seats a newer Kenwood stereo with an amp and speakers, a Hurst shifter and a sweet Holley 553-106 EFI 7" Digital Dash to display all the needed info you could want. The suspension has been upgraded with coil overs and the 3 piece 18” racing rims are wrapped with Nitto Extreme Drag Radials (305/35ZR18’s rear 275/35ZR18’s front). All of these upgrades were made to a rust free southern car and were completed approximately 2 years ago. With the lowered shocks, racing rims, tinted windows and the 6” cowl hood this Cobra has a menacing stance. When the car was modified it had just over 120,000 miles and it is estimated that it has been driven less than 3,000 miles since. Over $40,000 was spent on these modification with well over half of that being on the engine alone. Everything is in proper working order and the car needs nothing but someone with the stamina to handle her. If that is you we would suggest that you contact us before someone else beats you to it!
